Titre de l'épisode : Enter 77 (Entrez 77)

L'île des réfugiés est en effervescence. Certains ont trouvé une table de ping-pong intacte qui a échappé à l'explosion du bunker. Ils décident, pour améliorer l'ambiance de s'organiser une partie. Le tout est de trouver une balle.

Dans la jungle, Rousseau, Kate, Sayid et Locke décident de faire une pause pour manger. Mais Sayid doute de l'idée de Locke de se diriger quant à l'inscription trouvée sur le bâton de Ecko... Alors qu'il cueille des fruits, Sayid entend un bruit : une vache se trouve là, pas loin ! Il décide la suivre et tombe sur une maison, plantée au milieu de nulle part, avec des animaux, un cheval et une antenne satellite.

Sur la plage, des règles du jeu sont établies. Sawyer propose un tournoi : s'il gagne, il veut récupérer toutes ses affaires. Très (trop ?) confiant à son sujet, il demande à ses compagnons de désigner son futur adversaire "qu'il écrasera à coup sûr". Sun lui demande ce qu'il a décidé au cas où il perdrait. Sawyer sourit et lui demande de choisir. Elle répond alors "plus de surnoms pendant une semaine". (plutôt cool Sun ! ;) )

Sayid reconnaît tout de suite l'homme qui se trouve à proximité de la maison : c'est le mystérieux "borgne" qu'il avait vu lors de sa visite de la station Perle (épisode 3). Il en informe Kate, forcément, qui n'était pas au courant. Sayid décide alors d'y aller seul, sans armes et demande à ses amis de le couvrir au cas où ça tournerait mal. Il se lance. Il repère un cheval avec une monture, un chat aux allures très bizarres... quand soudain, l'inconnu sort par la fenêtre et tire deux fois en direction de Sayid !

Kate, voulant bondir à son secours, est retenue par Locke : Sayid est encore vivant. L'inconnu ferme la fenêtre ; Locke et Kate en profitent pour se précipiter vers Sayid, armés, et prennent l'inconnu par surprise.

Flash-back. Sayid est devenu Najeef, un Iraquien se faisant passer pour un Syrien, vivant à Paris, quelques temps après la guerre du Golfe. Devenu cuisinier dans un petit snack, il est abordé par un homme, un Iraquien qui se cache aussi, qui lui propose de devenir Chef Cuisinier dans son restaurant...

Retour sur l'île. L'inconnu s'appelle Mikhail Bakunin et apprend à l'instant qu'il y a bien eu un crash d'avion sur l'île récemment. Les présentations faites, Mikhail, ancien médecin dans les armées Russes ayant agi en Afghanistan, soigne Sayid grâce à un kit de premiers soins Dharma (âmes sensibles s'abstenir).
Pendant cette prise en charge, Mikhail présente un rapide parcours de sa vie. Après la fin de la Guerre Froide, il a dû interrompre sa carrière de militaire. C'est alors qu'il voit une annonce : "voulez-vous sauver le monde ?" Il y a répondu et a été engagé dans le projet Dharma. 11 ans qu'il a passées sur l'île, muté dans la station "Flamme" (où ils sont actuellement), seul au milieu d'ordinateurs et autres gadgets électroniques, dont la fonction principale est de communiquer avec le monde extérieur !
Pendant sa tirade, Kate et Locke visitent les lieux. Cuisine pleine, électricité, eau courante, ordinateurs intacts... jusqu'à ce que Locke tombe sur un des Unix comme celui qu'ils avaient dans la Station "Le Cygne". Cet ordi lui demande, dans une version graphique et sonore très kitsch, s'il veut jouer aux échecs avec lui. Locke semble intéressé... Mikhail raconte alors à Sayid et Kate qu'il est le seul survivant du projet Dharma. Que tout la monde a été tué lors de la "purge" qu'il y a eu avec les "hostiles", des années auparavant. Et qu'en n'y participant pas, Mikahil a échappé au massacre et les "hostiles" l'ont autorisé à continuer de vivre... Qu'en plus, ces "hostiles" étaient là depuis bien avant le projet Dharma...

Flash-back. Sayid (ou plutôt Najeef) arrive dans la restaurant de Sami pour la place de Chef. Il lui présente Amira, sa femme, qui semble avoir des marques de brûlures énormes sur ses mains et ses bras. Voulant lui serrer la main, Sayid est arrêté et frappé dans son élan. Il est dans la foulée maintenu par plusieurs hommes et Sami l'assomma sur-le-champ.

Retour sur l'île. Le chat de Mikhail, Nadia, semble bizarrement attirer l'attention de Sayid. Mikhail finit de guérir le blessé et propose d'aller faire du thé glacé pour se faire pardonner. Quant à Locke, il continue de jouer aux échecs avec l'ordinateur ; Mikhail lui avoue que sa fait 10 ans qu'il essaie de gagner et que ce n'est pas la peine qu'il se crève à gagner. Mais Locke n'en démord pas et continue.
Kate finit de bander le bras de Sayid ; ce dernier lui avoue qu'il sent que Mikhail leur ment. C'est un des "Autres" (ou "hostiles") à coup sûr et d'après la monture sur le cheval dehors, quelqu'un d'autre, de plus petit, est avec lui. Il faut donc rester sur ses gardes au cas où d'autres personnes arriveraient...

Retour sur le camp. Un match s'annonce entre Sawyer et Hurley. Sawyer, trop sûr de lui, manque de vigilance : dès la première balle, il est battu par Hurley ! Hurley instaure sa "règle de pitié" : quand, au bout d'un moment, un des joueurs "écrase" l'autre niveau score, autant finir le jeu de suite et de suite déclarer le vainqueur... Sawyer accepte.

Retour chez Mikhail. Il apporte le thé. Mais quelques questions de Sayid et la discussion dégénère. Sentant son stratège tomber à l'eau, Mikhail engage un combat aux poings avec Sayid (handicapé d'un bras !). Mais sayid prendra le dessus, notamment avec l'aide de Kate.

Flash-back. Enfermé dans une cave du restaurant de Sami, Sayid se demande ce qui lui arrive. Sami arrive avec un sac (dont on devine qu'il est rempli d'objets de torture) et pose ses conditions : il veut que Sayid reconnaisse avoir torturé sa femme durant la Guerre du Golfe. La victime ne sait quoi répondre et dément toute implication. Sami ne l'entend pas de cette oreille et menace Sayid qu'il ressortira de sa cave en morceaux, dans le sac...

Retour sur l'île. Fermement attaché, Mikhail, encore assommé, ne peut plus s'enfuir. Sayid expose son idée : une autre personne est là, avec Mikhail, un "hostile". Et que cette personne est ici, cachée, pour tenir compagnie à Mikhail après avoir perdu le contact avec le reste du monde (le ciel devenu violet, épisodes 23-24 de la saison 2). Les moyens de communications étant foutues, les trois compères doivent se préparer à de la visite, assurément. Sayid dévoile une entrée cachée sous un tapis, à proximité : et si l'autre personne était là ?

Flash-back. Sami entre de nouveau dans la cache, cette fois-ci accompagné de sa femme. Alors que la discussion semble s'envenimer, Amira "veut prendre son temps" et demande à son mari de se calmer. Mais Sami le cognera jusqu'au sang, par vengeance...

Retour sur l'île. Sayid et Kate descendent au sous-sol, véritable hangar de tout et de rien, où ils s'aperçoivent que l'endroit est truffé d'explosifs C4... Locke, resté en haut aux côtés de Mikhail toujours assommé, décide de continuer une partie d'échecs... Jusqu'à ce qu'il gagne enfin ! Mais là, arrêt du jeu d'échec et mise en place d'un programme Dharma : le Docteur Marvin Candle (le Japonais étrange du Dharma Initiative) apparait et dit : "Prise en main manuelle du programme réussie. Pour livraison par parachute, appuyez sur 2 puis 4. Pour upload de la station, appuyez sur 3 puis 2. Pour communiquer avec le continent, appuyez sur 3 puis 8."
Locke n'en revient pas. Et hésite. Mais il n'a pas le temps. Il appuis sur 3 et 8. "L'antenne satellite ne marche pas. Communication impossible. Pour l'accès au sonar, appuyez sur 5 puis 6". Ce que Locke fait. Mais ça ne semble pas marcher non plus... "Le sonar ne marche pas. Y'a t-il eu une incursion des hostiles dans la station ? Si oui, appuyez sur 7 puis 7." Mais Locke n'aura pas le temps : Mikhail a réussi à se détacher et menace Locke avec un couteau sous la gorge.
Dans le sous-sol, une femme se jette brusquement sur Kate et engage le combat. Mais Sayid y met rapidement un terme. Cette femme n'est autre que Miss Clue (épisode 22 saison 2). Une fois reconnue, Kate devient comme folle et se déchaîne contre elle. Sayid la stoppe dans sa fureur et Kate lui raconte qu'elle est l'une des responsable de leur enlèvement et qu'elle sait sûrement où se trouve Jack.
Sayid décide qu'il est temps de remonter avec ce nouvel otage. Mais une fois en haut, il s'apercoivent que Locke est dehors, tenue en joue par Mikhail : chaque camp à son otage et essaie de faire libérer l'autre. Mais une discussion en russe s'engage entre Mikhail et Miss Clue ; l'impensable arrive alors : Mikhail abat Miss Clue ! (la discussion en russe traduite disait que Miss Clue lui demander de la tuer sinon "ils seraient au courant" et que cette solution était inévitable).
Miss Clue abattue, Sayid reprend vite la main et fait tomber à terre Mikhail. Celui-ce lui demande de le tuer...

Sur la plage, on devine aisément que Sawyer a perdu ! Hurley veut essayer de réconforter le bad-boy (un vrai changement dans les relations !) ; ce dernier laisse échapper par mégarde un surnom mais Hurley lui rappelle qu'à partir de maintenant c'est "Hurley" ou "Hugo". Ensuite, on devine que Sawyer a dû prendre une balle vers les yeux puisque ses lunettes sont cassées ! Hurley avouera qu'il a joué au ping-pong toute sa vie : il avait une table dans le garage...

Retour chez Mikhail. Locke reprend là où il en était resté. Et appuie sur 7 et 7. Kate en profite pour prendre des munitions et de la nourriture. Dehors, Sayid est rejoint par Rousseau et surveillent Mikhail qui avouera n'avoir jamais fait partie du Dharma Initiative. Mais "que tout le reste est vrai". L'ex-soldat Russe menace de ne pas coopérer et de tous les tuer à la moindre garde baissée. Rousseau propose à Sayid de le tuer puisqu'il a récupéré une carte indiquant où vivrait une éventuelle communauté.

Flash-back. Amira entre seule (avec son chat très bizarre) dans la cave et engage, de façon noble et sereine, la conversation avec Sayid, désespéré. Amira lui raconte son histoire d'après-guerre. La paranoïa, la terreur... Sayid finira par avouer qui oui, il l'avait reconnue dès la première vue, et que son visage l'a hanté depuis son acte horrible. Tous deux semblent meurtris mais Amira comprend. Elle entend dire à son mari qu'elle s'est trompée quant à Sayid pour qu'il le laisse partir. Ce qu'elle voulait : qu'il reconnaisse ses agissements et qu'il demande le pardon. (scène très émouvante).

Retour chez Mikhail. Locke et Kate rejoignent Rousseau, Sayid et Mikhail dehors, à l'entrée de la jungle. Locke dit à Mickhail avoir compris pourquoi celui-ci ne voulait pas qu'il joue aux échecs. Soudain, la maison entière explose ! À terre, Sayid demande à John ce qu'il a fait. Locke lui répond qu'il a tapé "7 et 7" sur la question "Y'a t-il eu une incursion des hostiles dans la station ?". Et que cette explosion est le résultat de la question... Furieux, Sayid, qui compter réparer l'antenne, voit ses plans tomber à l'eau et décide de fuir au plus vite avant que l'explosion retienne l'attention des "autres". En partant, Sayid "bloque" sur le chat de Mikhail, resté à proximité de la maison : le chat est en réalité la copie-conforme de celui d'Amira...

Sawyer smiles and asks him to choose. It answers then “more nicknames during one week”. (rather cool Sun! ;) ) Sayid immediately recognizes the man who is near the house: it is mysterious the “one-eyed one” which it had seen at the time of its visit of the Perle station (episode 3). It informs of it Kate, inevitably, who was not well-informed. Sayid then decides to only go there, without weapons and request with his/her friends to cover it if that would turn badly. It launches out. It locates a horse with a mounting, a cat with the very odd paces… when suddenly, the unknown leaves by the window and draws twice in direction from Sayid! Kate, wanting to leap with his help, is retained by Locke: Sayid is still alive. Sayid and Kate go down to the basement, true hangar of all and nothing, where they realize that the place is truffé C4 explosives… Locke, remained in top at the sides of always struck Mikhail, decides to continue part of failures… Until it gains finally! (the Russian discussion translated said that Miss Clue to ask him to kill her if not “they would be well-informed” and that this solution was inevitable). Clue miss cut down, Sayid takes again the hand quickly and makes fall to Mikhail ground. That this requires of him to kill it… On the beach, one guesses easily that Sawyer lost! Hurley wants to try to comfort the bad-servant boy (a true change in the relations!) ; the latter lets escape inadvertently a nickname but Hurley recalls him that from now it is “Hurley” or “Hugo”. Then, it is guessed that Sawyer had to take a ball towards the eyes since its glasses are broken! Hurley will acknowledge that it played table tennis all its life: it had a table in the garage… Return to Mikhail. Locke begins again where it had remained about it. And supports on 7 and 7. Kate benefits from it to take ammunition and food. Outside, Sayid is joined by Rousseau and supervise Mikhail who will never acknowledge not to have belonged to Dharma Initiative. L'épisode est centré sur le passé d'Hurley. Ça commence sur une vision de son passé, étant encore enfant. On le sent proche de son père, avec qui il répare des voitures de temps en temps. Mais son père doit s'en aller pour aller travailler loin. Détail amusant : Hurley est mince !

Retour sur l'île. Hurley se confesse sur la tombe de Libby. Il semble traverser une mauvaise passe. Il s'en va ensuite voir Charlie, qui psychote quant à la date de sa "mort prévue". Ce dernier lui raconte son histoire avec Desmond (épisode 8) et Hurley enchaîne sur le fait que ça doit être à cause de lui. Parce-qu'il est maudit, à cause des chiffres (4 8 15 16 23 42). Soudain, Vincent (le chien de Walt) apparaît... avec le bras d'un squelette dans la bouche !

Est accroché à ce morceau de cadavre une clé... Hurley décide de suivre le chien qui repart avec sa trouvaille dans la jungle. En chemin, Vincent s'arrêtera devant la carcasse d'un Combi (les camionnettes des années 70 de Wolkswagen) renversé, estampillé Dharma, avec le cadavre de son conducteur à l'intérieur...

Flashback. Hurley, tout juste gagnant du loto, a racheté le restaurant de son boss. Mon lors de l'interview, Hurley ne semble pas à l'aise. La reporter, Tricia Tanaka, y entre avec son cameraman pour préparer le sujet quand soudain, un météor s'abat sur le restaurant ! Hurley et son ex-boss, restés dehors, n'ont rien... Huley rentre chez lui dépité : il est maudit, il en a maintenant la preuve ! Au sein de son impressionnant palace (au goût déco très douteux), sa mère essaie de rassurer son fils : non il n'est pas maudit. La preuve : son père est revenu, après 17 ans d'absence... Mais Hurley n'est pas dupe.

Retour sur l'île. Sun essaie de faire apprendre l'anglais à Jin. Mais celui-ci se lasse trop vite et se montre impatient. Hurley déboule sur la plage et raconte sa découverte à qui veut l'entendre. Mais quand il demande aux autres qui pourrait l'aider à réparer la voiture, personne se présente... à part Jin, resté planté là, sûrement parce-qu'il n'avait rien compris...
Avant d'arriver sur la plage, Kate essaie d'arrondir les angles avec Sawyer, mais ce dernier ne lâche pas prise et en veut toujours à "tâche de rousseur". Ils arrivent enfin à leur campement où tout le monde les accueille avec enthousiasme. Mais Kate et Sawyer, même de loin, se cherchent encore...

Hurley et Jin essaient de faire ce qu'ils peuvent avec le combi et font "la connaissance" de Roger, le cadavre... et de sa cargaison de bières ! Motivés, ils décident de redoubler d'effort et de faire marcher le combi. Mais en voulant d'abord enlever le cadavre, ils arrachent accidentellement la tête...

Sur la plage, Charlie demande à Desmond quand il va mourir. Mais l'illuminé lui répond "que ça ne se passe pas comme ça". Sawyer débarque en furie vers eux deux et leur demande où sont passées ses affaires : fringues, pornos et whisky. Desmond s'excuse, pour trois, au sujet du whisky... Sawyer apprend alors qu'Hurley était le "troisième homme".

Dans la jungle, Hurley et Jin essaient de soulever le combi quand Sawyer, furieux, débarque. Ne s'y attendant pas du tout, Hurley se jette dans ses bras, content de le voir revenir sain et sauf. Le bad boy semble touché... et décide d'aider les deux hommes dans leur tâche.

À peine arrivée, Kate repart pour aller sauver Jack. Au grand dam de Locke et Sayid.

Flashback. Saoûlé par la malédiction, Hurley vit son dîner de "retrouvailles familiales" mal et veut tout rendre.

Retour sur l'île. Les trois hommes réussissent enfin à retourner le combi. Sawyer, se précipitant sur les bières à l'intérieur, tombe sur la tête de "Roger" et prend peur. Mais ça ne dure pas longtemps. Sous une carte et d'autres affaires, il trouve les bières et s'en ouvre une. Jin et Hurley essaient de réparer la voiture.

Flashback. Le père d'Hurley essaie de motiver son fils à reprendre goût à la vie et l'envoie chez une diseuse de bonne aventure qui lui fera des révélations surprenantes. Mais pas dupe, il s'apercevra que c'était une supercherie de son père. Furieux, il s'en va.

Retour sur l'île. Alors que Sawyer apprend à Jin l'anglais autour d'une bière, Hurley "prie" espérant trouver une solution. C'est alors qu'il voit qu'à ses côtés, une descente vertigineuse se trouve là... Ayant une idée, il court chercher Charlie sur la plage pour lui faire changer les idées et l'emmène à l'endroit où se trouve le combi.
Une fois sur les lieux, Hurley réussit à convaincre tout le monde : pousser le combi au bord de la descente pour que dans l'élan, le moteur puisse (éventuellement) tourner de nouveau.

Flashback. Hurley veut partir en Australie, pour "oublier" et s'éloigner. Avant d'y aller, son père essaie de se rapprocher de lui et lui dit que s'il veut se débarrasser de l'argent, source de malédiction, alors qu'il le fasse.

Retour sur l'île. Hurley monte au volant et Charlie insiste pour être son co-pilote. Ce qui s'annonce pour eux est dangereux... Sawyer et Jin poussent la voiture et la voilà lancée à vive allure ! Hurley essaie de faire repartir les moteurs tant bien que mal alors qu'au loin des rochers se font plus gros. Il fait tout, Charlie hurle et soudain, à l'approche du danger et dans une utime prière, le moteur démarre enfin et le pire est évité !
Le combi marche de nouveau et les hommes en profitent pour faire un petit tour avec.

Le soir, Kate se sent suivie dans la jungle. Sayid et Locke la pistait. Kate se trouve dans la zone de la jungle où elle espère trouver l'aide de quelqu'un : Rousseau. Elle est là et apprend que sa fille Alex est bien vivante.

Tittle of episode: Tricia Tanaka is dead

The episode is centered on the past of Hurley. That starts on a vision of its past, being still child. It is smelled near to his father, with whom it repairs cars from time to time. But his/her father must go himself from there to go to work far. Amusing detail: Hurley is thin! Return on the island. Hurley is confessed on the tomb of Libby. It seems to cross a bad master key. It from there then will see Charlie, who psychote as for the date of its “death envisaged”. This last tells him its history with Desmond (episode 8) and Hurley connects on the fact that that must be because of him. Because it is cursed, because of the figures (4 8 15 16 23 42). Suddenly, Vincent (the dog of Walt) appears… with the arm of a skeleton in the mouth! Is fixed on this piece of corpse a key… Hurley decides to follow the dog which sets out again with its lucky find in the jungle. In way, Vincent will stop in front of the carcass of Combi (vans of the Seventies of Wolkswagen) reversed, estampillé Dharma, with the corpse of his driver inside… Flashback. Hurley, just gaining lotto, repurchased the restaurant of its boss. My during the interview, Hurley does not seem at ease. To defer, Tricia Tanaka, enters there with his cameraman to prepare the subject when suddenly, a météor falls down on the restaurant! Hurley and its ex-boss, remained outside, do not have anything… Huley returns at his place depity: it is cursed, it has the proof now of it! Within her impressive de luxe hotel (with the taste very doubtful déco), his/her mother tries to reassure her son: not it is not cursed. The proof: his/her father returned, after 17 years of absence… But Hurley is not easily deceived. Return on the island. Sun tries to make learn English with Jin. But this one is wearied too quickly and is impatient. Hurley déboule on the beach and tells its discovery with which wants to hear it. But when there asks the others which could help it to repair the car, nobody is presented… at Jin share, remained planted there, surely because he had not included/understood anything… Before arriving on the beach, Kate tries to round the angles with Sawyer, but this last does not release not taken and always wants some with “task of redness”. They arrive finally at their camping where everyone accomodates them with enthusiasm. But Kate and Sawyer, even by far, still seek themselves… Hurley and Jin try to do what they can with the combi and make “the knowledge” of Roger, the corpse… and of its beer cargo! Justified, they decide to redouble effort and to make go the combi. But while initially wanting to remove the corpse, they tear off the head accidentally… On the beach, Charlie asks Desmond when it will die. But illuminated answers him “that that does not occur like that”. Sawyer unloads in fury towards them two and their request where its business passed: clothes, porns and whisky. Desmond excuses himself, for three, about the whisky… Sawyer learns whereas Hurley was the “third man”. In the jungle, Hurley and Jin try to raise the combi when Sawyer, furious, unloads. Expecting it at all, Hurley is thrown in its arms, glad to see it returning healthy and except. The bad servant boy seems touched… and decides to help the two men in their task. Hardly arrival, Kate sets out again to go to save Jack. To the great displeasure of Locke and Sayid. Flashback. Saoûlé by the curse, Hurley saw its dinner of “family meeting again” evil and wants all to return. Return on the island. The three men finally succeed in turning over the combi. Sawyer, precipitating on beers inside, falls on the head from “Roger” and takes fear. But that does not last a long time. Under a chart and other businesses, it finds beers and one opens some. Jin and Hurley try to repair the car. Flashback. The father of Hurley tries to motivate his son to take again taste with the life and sends it at a monologuist of good adventure which will make him surprising revelations. But not deceives, it will realize that it was a trickery of his/her father. Furious, it from goes away. Return on the island. Whereas Sawyer learns in Jin English around a beer, Hurley “requests” hoping to find a solution. At this point in time it sees that at its sides, a vertiginous descent is there… Having an idea, it runs to seek Charlie on the beach to make him change the ideas and takes along it to the place where the combi is. Once on the spot, Hurley succeeds in convincing everyone: to push the combi at the edge of the descent so that in the dash, the engine can (possibly) turn again. Flashback. Hurley wants to leave for Australia, “to forget” and to move away. Before going there, his/her father tries to approach him and says to him that if he wants to get rid of the money, source of curse, whereas he does it. Return on the island. Hurley goes up at the wheel and Charlie insists to be his copilot. What is announced for them is dangerous… Sawyer and Jin push the car and here it is launched with sharp pace! Hurley tries to make set out again the engines after a fashion whereas with far from the rocks are done larger. It does all, Charlie howls and sudden, with the approach of the danger and in a utime prayer, the engine starts finally and the worst is avoided! The combi walk again and the men benefit from it to make a small turn with. The evening, Kate smells itself followed in the jungle. Sayid and Locke tracked it. Kate is in the zone of the jungle where it hopes to find the assistance of somebody: Rousseau. It is there and learns that his/her Alex daughter is quite alive.

Titre de l'épisode : Stranger in a Strange Land (Étranger dans un pays étranger)

L'épisode commence sur une "prise de tête" entre Sawyer et Kate, qui pagaient en direction de leur île. Kate veut retourner à l'endroit où ils ont été faits prisonnier pour sauver Jack mais Sawyer l'en dissuade... Karl, le jeune homme qu'ils ont recueilli, émerge petit à petit.

Tom (ancien Zeke) entre dans la cage où est prisonnier Jack pour le faire déménager. Le doc n'est pas dupe et pense qu'il va être tué. Surpris dans un premier temps, Tom lui avoue que ce n'est pas dans leurs projets et qu'il ne comprend pas pourquoi il pense ça. Jack lui rappelle alors toutes leurs actions passées : Claire enlevée encore enceinte, Charlie pendu, les enfants disparus, d'autres kidnappés... Tom réussira à le faire sortir malgré tout. Sur le chemin, il croisera Juliet, menottée et accompagnée de gardes, qui prendra sa place dans la cellule ainsi qu'une autre mystérieuse femme blonde.

Flashback. Jack coule des moments heureux à Phuket (Thailande) et y croise la sublime Achara (NDLR : Bai Ling, actrice asiatique de "ouf" qui fait les choux gras de la presse people aux US).

Retour sur l'île. Tom amène à manger à Jack, fraîchement installé là où se trouvait auparavant Sawyer. Tom présentera la mystérieuse femme blonde comme étant le "shérif" de l'île. Il en profite pour lui demander quels sont les amis "qui abandonneraient" l'un des leurs sans se retourner. Jack évite de répondre.

Sawyer et Kate se prennent une nouvelle fois la tête sur la direction à emprunter en bateau pour atteindre le camp alors que la nuit tombe. Plus tard, tous trois arrivent sur l'île pour s'y installer le temps d'une nuit. Karl reprend ses esprits et leur demande de ne pas se disputer et de s'estimer heureux d'être en vie. Plus tard, Kate demandera à Karl si l'île où ils se trouvaient et là où les "autres" vivent. Celui-ci répond alors que c'est uniquement l'endroit "où ils travaillent". Et que les personnes enlevées sont là "où une meilleure vie s'offre à eux"... Il enchaîne ensuite sur un monologue où il avoue qu'Alex lui manque énormément, notamment "leurs nuits passées dans leur jardin à nommer les constellations".

Alors que la nuit est tombée, Jack tourne en rond. Il reçoit la visite "encadrée" de Juliet qui lui annonce que la plaie de Ben s'est infectée. Jack refuse d'aider Ben à nouveau et, par la même occasion, d'aider Juliet.

Flashback. Jack et Achara passent de bons moments ensemble, notamment au resto. Achara reçoit la visite d'une personne lui remettant une enveloppe ; qu'elle s'empresse de ranger dans son sac. Elle expliquera à jack que des "gens la remercient pour son don"... Hum hum.

Retour sur l'île. La mystérieuse femme blonde, dite "le shérif", se présente à Jack et enchaîne sur la signification de ses tatouages. Elle sait ce qu'ils signifient bien qu'en Chinois plusieurs interprétations sont possibles. Jack rétorque qu'il sait très bien ce qu'ils veulent dire. Elle se présente par la suite par son nom : Isabel. Elle décide d'emmener Jack pour lui poser quelques questions.

Quelques minutes plus tard, Jack est emmené dans une sorte de salle d'interrogatoires où Juliet se trouve déjà, menottée. Elle demande à Jack si Juliet lui a bien demandée de tuer Ben. Sentant le vent mal tourner, Jack hésite puis affirme qu'il les a bluffé et que jamais Juliet n'a fait ça. Mais Isabel n'est pas dupe et lui demande pourquoi il ment...

Flashback. Achara s'invite, une fois de plus, en pleine nuit, dans la chambre de Jack pour une chaude nuit... L'alchimie est parfaite sauf que Jack ne connaît pas encore bien Achara ni ce qu'elle fait de ses journées...

Retour sur l'île. Le lendemain, Jack se réveille et a à faire à des gens qui le regardent comme s'il était une bête de foire ! Des gens a priori "normaux", habillés normalement... C'est alors que Jack les reconnaît : certains d'entre eux sont des passages du vol 815 ! Et les enfants, initialement kidnappés par les "autres", sont là aussi et en bonne santé ! Jack, irrité par cette mise en scène, demande à l'hôtesse de l'air (épisode 1 saison 1) ce qu'ils font tous là. Elle répond : "nous sommes là pour regarder". Furieux, Jack les somme de foutre le camp.

Sur l'autre île, Sawyer et Kate se réveillent mais Karl manque à l'appel. Sawyer le retrouvera en sanglots. Il tente, à sa manière, de "discuter entre hommes" et de le réconforter. Karl veut absolument récupérer Alex mais il sait que s'il est prit, il sera tué cette fois-ci.

De nouveau, retour sur l'autre île. Alex, furieuse, demande à Jack, toujours enfermé, pourquoi il a sauvé son père (Ben). Jack répond que c'est parce-que c'est son père... Par la suite, il apprend que Juliet menace d'être éxécutée par le conseil présidée par le shérif, pour avoir assassiné un des leurs. Jack demande du renfort à Alex qui l'amène à Ben.
Une fois arrivé dans le cabinet, Jack arrache un arrangement à Ben : il laisse Juliet en vie et devient son docteur personnel...

Flashback. Dans un des quartiers chauds de Phuket, Jack suit Achara jusqu'à son repère. Elle est en réalité une tatoueuse très "spéciale" : elle lit la vraie personnalité des gens et le traduit en tatouages. Furieuse qu'elle l'ait suivie, Achara refuse de tatouer Jack. Mais ce dernier lui impose de faire son travail. Elle s'exécutera, en sanglots.

Retour sur l'île. Alex arrive à temps avec Jack pour stopper la prononciation de la sentence. Mais Juliet sera quand même "marquée"...

Flashback. Jack sort de sa "hutte" pour une nouvelle journée. Mais une fois sur la plage, il sent que quelque chose "cloche". Il est alors agressé physiquement (et assez violemment) par une horde d'hommes venus lui ordonner de s'en aller illico-presto. Au loin, Achara est en pleurs et semble désespérée...

Retour sur l'île. Juliet rend visite à Jack, libre. Elle lui apporte son repas, comme elle le faisait auparavant. Jack demande à voir "sa marque". Une trace au fer rouge trône au bas de la colonne vertébrale... À l'aide d'une branche d'Aloès, Jack essaie de faire cicatriser la plaie. Quelque chose se noue réellement entre eux. Juliet lui apprend qu'ils "vont tous" déménager là où Ben appelle "la maison".

Sur l'autre île, Sawyer a laissé partir Karl rendant par la même occasion Kate furieuse. Après s'être disputés en règle, ils prennent la direction de leur camp.

Retour sur l'île des "Autres". Tout le monde se prépare au départ à la nuit tombée. Jack accompagne Ben et Juliet vers leur nouvelle destination à l'aide d'une embarcation de fortune. Peu avant, Isabel lui lâche la traduction de son tatouage : "leader, mais toujours seul".

Titre de l'épisode : Flashes before your eyes

Un épisode hallucinant qui va finir par rendre fous les fans les plus absolus comme moi. Je pense qu'on va réellement finir dans un internat psychiatrique avec cette série. Damned !

L'épisode commence sur Hurley et Charlie qui fouillent la tente de Sawyer, profitant de son absence. Récupérant ainsi médicaments, alcools... et revues pornos ! Desmond s'approche d'eux et leur demande, de façon mystérieuse, de les suivre. Celui-ci les amènera dans la jungle, à un endroit où se trouvent Locke et Sayid.

Ces deux derniers leur révélera la mort d'Eko, "tué par l'île". Comprendre : le Monster est passé par là... Pour ne pas affoler le reste du camp, pas encore au courant, et aussi à cause de l'absence de la personne "rassurante" du camp (Jack, le docteur), Locke leur demande de garder ça pour eux. Pour l'instant.
C'est alors que Desmond se comporte étrangement et regarde ailleurs ; comme s'il entendait quelque chose que lui seul pouvait capter. C'est alors qu'il enchaîne sur une course effrénée à travers la jungle et arrive sur la plage du camp. Les autres, ne comprenant pas, le suivent quand même. Desmond se jette dans l'eau avec précipitation et on finit par comprendre qu'il est allé secourir quelqu'un qui s'est noyé. Et ce n'est autre que Claire !
Desmond la ramènera illico-presto sur la plage pour la ranimer ; celle-ci reprendra connaissance, devant un Charlie hébété.
Desmond ramène seul Claire à sa tente et Charlie lui demande alors comment il a fait pour savoir que Claire se noyait. Sans réponse directe, Hurley avance que Desmond, à coup sûr, peut voir le futur...

Plus tard, Claire, remise de ses émotions, remerciera Desmond, pensif devant une photo de lui et de sa femme Penny. Charlie, de son côté, doute des pouvoirs psychiques de Desmond et prévoie, avec l'aide d'Hurley, de le saouler avec une bonne bouteille de whisky, pour le faire parler. Tous deux vont alors retrouver Desmond, en train de préparer un feu sur la plage. Quand Charlie lui propose une soirée "saoulerie", Desmond décline ; mais quand il apprend la marque du whisky, un "McCutcheon", il se met à rire et accepte finalement...
La soirée est bien avancée et les trois compagnons sont bien bourrés. Charlie en profite pour demander à Desmond comment il a su pour Claire. L'interrogé comprend alors le stratège et feint de répondre. Arguant qu'il veut aller se coucher, il s'en va ; Charlie le provoque et le traite alors de lâche. Entré dans une folie furieuse, Desmond fonce sur lui et lui hurle : "Tu veux vraiment savoir ce qui m'est arrivé quand j'ai utilisé la clé (épisode 24 saison 2) ? Tu ne voudrais pas le savoir !!".


Flashback. Desmond, dans le bunker, prend la clé et se dirige dans le sous-sol caché. Il active la clé. Et là...

(est-ce un flashback ? on y revient plus bas). Desmond, en sang, est allongé dans une pièce fermée. La caméra se recule... et on voit qu'en réalité, Desmond est tombé d'une échelle et qu'il s'est pris le pot de peinture rouge. Penny accourt et l'aide à se relever. Desmond semble perdu et désorienté. Penny, quant à elle, lui reproche gentiment d'avoir un peu bu avant de peindre et qu'il n'a qu'à s'en prendre qu'à lui-même. Elle continue sur le fait qu'elle est tout excitée d'avoir emménagé chez lui. Plus tard, remis de sa chute, Desmond s'habille "chic" avec nervosité ; Penny lui dit alors qu'il n'est pas obligé d'accepter un poste dans l'entreprise de son père, la Widmore Corporation. Soudain, un bruit : le compteur du bunker ! Desmond, comme effrayé, regarde autour de lui... Ce n'est en réalité que le micro-ondes, qui émet le même bruit en fin de cuisson...
Penny trouve Desmond bizarre mais met ça sur le compte du stress. Mais pour Desmond, c'est une impression de "déjà-vu"...
Au siège de la Widmore Corporation, à l'acceuil, Desmond fait connaître son rendez-vous à la secrétaire. Quand un coursier arrive et dit à cette même secrétaire qu'il a "une livraison pour le 8-15". Desmond semble de plus en plus troublé... Des "sortes de" flashbacks le hantent.
Desmond est reçu par Charles Widmore, patron et père de Penny. Consultant son CV, il lui pose des questions type d'un entretien comme ses diplômes ou s'il a fait l'armée. Ils discutent, notamment autour d'une maquette de bateau. Charles Widmore que sa fondation finance des courses en solo à travers le monde. Desmonde tique... Le boss lui propose un poste dans l'administratif, pour ensuite gravir les échelons. Mais Desmond décline et lui avoue qu'il est là pour demander la main de sa fille.
Ce que Charles prendra pour "noble". Mais ensuite, les choses se gâtent... Il veut "célébrer" cette demande et prendre une bouteille de whisky extrêmement chère, un "McCutcheon". Il lui fera un discours particulièrement corrosif sur le fait que Desmond ne mérite "même pas un gorgée" de ce qui représente une année de salaire. Qu'il n'est rien, un véritable bon à rien, et qu'il ne mérite absolument pas sa fille ! Ambiance.

Furieux, Desmond sort de l'entreprise et, dans la rue, jette sa cravate dans un accès de colère. Il tombe alors sur un guitariste qui fait la manche : Charlie ! Il bloque sur lui et lui dit qu'il le connaît. Charlie rétorque que c'est faux. Desmond a alors une illumination. Il lui dit qu'il l'a connu sur une île, au moment où le bunker saute... que cette scène qu'il vit en ce moment, il "l'a vue" : jeter sa cravatte, un guitariste qui fait la manche... et en plus, il va pleuvoir. Bingo. Il se met à pleuvoir...
Desmond court chercher un ami, un scientifique, et lui demande son avis sur "les voyages dans le temps". Se retrouvant dans un pub du quartier, Desmond essaie d'expliquer ce qui lui arrive mais son ami le prend pour un fou... Desmond a une vision : il lui donne le résultat du match de foot diffusé en ce moment même sur les écrans du bar et lui raconte comment l'arrivée d'un mec va tout chambouler après la fin du match. Mais rien ne se passe... Desmond semble perdu.
Il rentre tard et Penny, assoupie, semblait l'attendre. Quand il vient l'embrasser, elle se réveille. Elle lui demande alors comment s'est passé son entretien avec son père. Desmond lui avouera simplement qu'ils ont été d'accord : "il n'était pas assez qualifié" (sic). Penny propose alors de fêter ça : point de poste et de vie misérable au sein de la société de son père, c'est une chance ! Desmond enchaîne et demande à sa femme pourquoi elle l'aime. Penny répondre que les hommes bien ne courent pas les rues...

Le lendemain, Desmond entre dans une bijouterie et peine à choisir un beau caillou pour Penny. La vendeuse, une dame aux airs assez mystérieux, le taquine en avouant que Desmond portait sur son visage qu'il était perdu. À la question du budget, et voyant que Desmond avait du mal à répondre, la dame sourit et lui dit qu'elle a ce qu'il faut. Ils se dirigent tous deux vers un autre rayon et la vendeuse tend à Desmond un bijou simple et magnifique à la fois. Desmond l'a dans la main et décide de la prendre quand soudain, la dame change radicalement de comportement.
Et lui demande de lui rendre immédiatement sa bague. Que "ça ne doit pas se passer comme ça normalement, qu'il devait initialement hésiter et repartir". "Desmond, n'achetez pas cette bague". Déconcerté, ce dernier demande comment cette femme connaît son nom. S'en suit un monologue de la vendeuse assez flippant :
- Je sais aussi que vous ne demanderez pas Penny en mariage. En fait, vous lui briserez le coeur. Ce qui, évidemment, vous conduira dans quelques années à participer à cette course pour impressionner son père, cela vous amènera sur l'île où vous passerez les 3 années suivantes à entrer des nombres dans un ordinateur, jusqu'à ce que vous ayez à utiliser la clé de secours. Et si vous ne le faites pas, Desmond David Hume, nous sommes tous morts.
- Alors, rendez-moi cette bague.
- Je vois que vous allez être pénible.
- Qui êtes-vous ?
- Vous aimez les marrons ?"

Ambiance.

Dehors, et calmement, la mystérieuse femme attire l'attention de Desmond sur un homme aux chaussures rouges ; que c'est original comme mode. Desmond, plus tard, essaiera de comprendre. Cette femme est là pour le dissuader de se marier mais ça ne marchera pas ; alors qu'elle est assurée du contraire... Un effondrement d'échafaudage a lieu derrière eux : l'homme aux chaussures rouges, dessous, est mort sur le coup. Desmond comprend alors : cette femme voit le futur. Et lui demande pourquoi elle n'a rien fait. Elle lui explique simplement que le destin est le destin. Et que si on veut le modifier, les "courbes de l'espace" retrouvent leurs destinées originelles de toute façon. Qu'essayer de sauver cet homme n'aurait servi à rien, il serait mort d'une autre façon le lendemain...
Mais Desmond refuse la fatalité et continue dans l'idée de demander la main de Penny. La dame lui répond alors que peut-être il n'aime pas son destin, mais "qu'appuyer sur ce bouton, sur cette île, est la seule grande chose qu'il fera dans sa vie"...

Dépité, sur la route du retour, il s'arrête à une antenne de l'armée qui cherche des volontaires pour servir Sa Majesté.

Penny et Desmond se promène sur les quais du London Bridge. Après un premier refus, ils décident de faire une photo ensemble avec un photographe "à touristes", pour immortaliser leur bonheur (la fameuse photo que Desmond a toujours sur lui).
Mais après cette séance photo, Desmond se séparera, dans la douleur, de Penny... et jettera la bague qu'il devait lui donner dans la Tamise.

Desmond ira dans le pub (où il était son ami physicien) pour s'y consoler autour d'une bière. Quand alors le match diffusé sur la télé annonce le score qu'il avait prédit ! Desmond avait eu raison, mais s'était trompé d'un jour. Un certain Jimmy Lennon rentre alors dans le bar, comme il l'avait prévu, avec une sorte de batte de base-ball pour découdre avec le barman. Voulant sauver le propriétaire, c'est Desmond qui se prendra le coup...

Black-out.

Réveil sur l'île. Nu, déshabillé, désorienté. Desmond est revenu sur l'île (saison 3, épisode 3). Il se lève, et voit les restes du bunker qui a implosé. Il est alors très déçu...

Retour sur la discussion avec Charlie. Ce dernier, qui a tout écouté, lui demande alors si depuis "il voit le futur" : comme le paratonnerre, la noyade de Claire... est-ce qu'il doit sauver Claire ?
Desmond lui répond alors, avec hésitation, que la seule personne qu'il sauvait était... Charlie ! Qu'en tentant de sauver Claire de la noyade, il se serait noyé. Que la foudre lui serait tombée dessus. En somme, qu'il va bientôt mourir, malgré les tentatives de sauvetages de Desmond.


Mon avis : bon alors, là, ça rigole plus !!! Cet épisode est tout simplement hallucinant ! Le flashback sur Desmond... du moins, était-ce un flashback ?

An incredible episode which will end up making insane the absolute fans like me. I think that one really will finish in a psychiatric boarding school with this series. Damned! The episode starts on Hurley and Charlie which excavate the tent of Sawyer, benefitting from his absence. Thus recovering drugs, alcohols… and skin mag! Desmond approaches them and their request, in a mysterious way, to follow them. This one will bring them in the jungle, at a place where Locke and Sayid are. These two last will reveal to them the death of Eko, “killed by the island”. To include/understand: Monster passed by there… Not to throw into a panic the remainder of the camp, not yet with the current, and also because of the absence of the “reassuring” person of the camp (Jack, the doctor), Locke their request to keep that for them. For the moment. At this point in time Desmond behaves curiously and looks at elsewhere; as if it heard something that only could collect to him. At this point in time it connects on an unrestrained race through the jungle and arrives on the beach of the camp the others, not including/understanding, follow it nevertheless. Desmond throws himself in water with precipitation and one ends up understanding that it went to help somebody who drowned. And it is not other than Claire! Desmond will bring back it illico-presto on the beach to revive it; this one will regain consciousness, in front of stupefied Charlie. Desmond brings back only Claire to his tent and Charlie asks him then how it let to know that Claire drowned. Without direct answer, Hurley advances that Desmond, undoubtedly, can see the future… Later, Claire, handing-over of her emotions, will thank Desmond, pensive in front of a photograph of him and his Penny wife. Charlie, on his side, doubts the psychic capacities of Desmond and envisages, with the assistance of Hurley, of the saouler with a good whisky bottle, to make it speak. Both then will find Desmond, preparing a fire on the beach. When Charlie proposes one evening to him “saoulery”, Desmond declines; but when it learns the mark from the whisky, a “McCutcheon”, it starts to laughing and accepts finally… The evening is well advanced and the three companions are well stuffed. Charlie benefits from it to ask Desmond how it knew for Claire. Questioned the strategist includes/understands then and pretends to answer. Asserting that he wants to go to lie down, he from goes away; Charlie causes it and then treats it of coward. Entered a furious madness, Desmond sinks on him and howls to him: “You want to really know what arrived to me when I used the key (episode 24 season 2)? You would not like the knowledge!!”. Flashback. Desmond, in the bunker, takes the key and moves in the hidden basement. He activates the key. And there… (is this a flashback? one returns lower there). Desmond, in blood, is lengthened in a closed part. The camera is moved back… and it is seen that actually, Desmond fell from a scale and that it was caught the red pot of painting. Penny runs and the assistance to be raised. Desmond seems lost and disorientated. Penny, as for it, nicely reproaches him for having drunk a little before painting and that he has only to be caught some that with itself. It continues on the fact that it is very excited to have moved in at his place. , Given later from its fall, Desmond gets dressed “smart” with nervousness; Penny says to him whereas it is not obliged to accept a station in the company of his father, Widmore Corporation. Suddenly, a noise: the meter of the bunker! Desmond, as frightened, looks around him… In fact actually only the microwaves emits the same noise at the end of the cooking… Penny finds Desmond odd but puts that on the account of the stress. But for Desmond, it is an impression of “already-considering”… With the seat of Widmore Corporation, with the acceuil, Desmond makes known its go to the secretary. When a dispach rider arrives and says to this same secretary as it has “a delivery for the 8-15”. Desmond seems more and more disturbed… “Kinds of” flashbacks haunt it. Desmond is received by Charles Widmore, owner and father of Penny. Consultant his CV, it asks him type questions of a maintenance like his diplomas or if it made the army. They discuss, in particular around a model of boat. Charles Widmore that its foundation finances races in solo throughout the world. Desmonde tick… The boss proposes a station in the administrative one to him, for then climbing the levels. But Desmond declines and acknowledges to him that it is there to ask for the hand of his daughter. What Charles will take for “noble”. But then, the things are spoiled… He wants “to celebrate” this request and to take an extremely expensive whisky bottle, a “McCutcheon”. He will make him a particularly corrosive speech on the fact that Desmond does not even deserve “not a mouthful” of what represents one year of wages. How it is nothing, true good with nothing, and which it does not deserve absolutely his daughter! Environment. Furious, Desmond leaves the company and, in the street, throws his tie in an access of anger. He falls then on a guitarist who makes the sleeve: Charlie! He blocks on him and says to him that he knows it. Rétorque Charlie that they is false. Desmond has an illumination then. He says to him that he known it on an island, at the moment when the bunker jumps… that this scene which he saw in this moment, he “saw it”: to throw its cravatte, a guitarist who makes the sleeve… and moreover, it will rain. Bingo. It starts to rain… Desmond runs to seek a friend, a scientist, and asks him its opinion on “the voyages in time”. Finding itself in a pub of the district, Desmond tries to explain what arrives to him but his/her friend takes it for insane… Desmond has a vision: he gives him the result of the match of foot diffused in this moment even on the screens of the bar and tells him how the arrival of a guy goes all chambouler after the end of the match. But nothing occurs… Desmond seems lost. He returns late and Penny, dormant, seemed to await it. When it comes to embrace it, it awakes. It asks him then how its discussion with his/her father occurred. Desmond will acknowledge to him simply that they agreed: “it was not qualified enough” (sic). Penny then proposes to celebrate that: not station and of miserable life within the company of his/her father, it is a chance! Desmond connects and asks his wife why she likes it. Penny to answer that the men well do not run about the streets… The following day, Desmond enters a jewellery and pains to choose a beautiful stone for Penny. The saleswoman, a lady with the rather mysterious airs, teases it while acknowledging that Desmond related to his face which it was lost. To the question of the budget, and indicator that Desmond had evil to answer, the lady smiles and says to him that it has what it is necessary. They move both towards another ray and the saleswoman tightens in Desmond a simple and splendid jewel at the same time. Desmond A in the hand and decides to take it when suddenly, the lady changes behavior radically. And asks him to return its ring immediately to him. That “that should not occur like that normally, that it was initially to hesitate and set out again”. “Desmond, do not buy this ring”. Disconcerted, this last requires how this woman knows her name. Is followed from there a monologue of the saleswoman enough flippant: - I also know that you will not ask for Penny in marriage. In fact, you will break the heart to him. What, obviously, will lead you in a few years to take part in this race to impress his/her father, that will bring you on the island where you will spend the 3 following years to enter of the numbers a computer, until you have to use the key of help. And if you do not do it, Desmond David Hume, we all are died. - Then, return to me this ring. - I see that you will be painful. - Which are you? - You like chestnuts? “ Environment. Outside, and calmly, the mysterious woman draws the attention of Desmond to a man with the red shoes; that it is original like mode. Desmond, later, will try to include/understand. This woman is there to dissuade it to marry but that will not go; whereas it is ensured of the opposite… A collapse of scaffolding takes place behind them: the man with the red shoes, below, died on the blow. Desmond includes/understands then: this woman sees the future. And asks him why it did not do anything. She explains to him simply why the destiny is the destiny. And that if one wants to modify it, the “curves of space” find their original destinies in any event. That to try to save this man would have been used for nothing, he would have died in another way the following day… But Desmond refuses fate and continuous in the idea to ask for the hand of Penny. The lady answers him whereas perhaps he does not like his destiny, but “that to press on this button, on this island, is the only large thing which he will make in his life”… Depity, on the road of the return, it stops with an antenna of the army which seeks volunteers to serve His Majesty. Penny and Desmond walk on the quays of London Bridge. After a first refusal, they decide to make a photo whole with a photographer “with tourists”, for immortaliser their happiness (the famous photograph that Desmond always has on him). But after this photo meeting, Desmond will separate, in the pain, of Penny… and will throw the ring which it was to give him in the Thames. Desmond in the pub (where he was his friend physicist) will comfort himself there around a beer. When then the match diffused on the TV announces the score which it had predicted! Desmond had been right, but had been mistaken one day. Certain Jimmy Lennon returns then in the bar, as it had envisaged, with a kind of bat to unstitch with the barman. Wanting to save the owner, it is Desmond who will be caught the blow… Blackout. Alarm clock on the island. Naked, stripped, disorientated. Desmond returned on the island (season 3, episode 3). He rises, and sees the remainders of the bunker which implosé. He then is very disappointed… Return on the discussion with Charlie. This last, which very listened, requires of him then if since “it sees the future”: like does the lightning conductor, the drowning of Claire… it have to save Claire? Desmond answers him then, with hesitation, which the only person whom it saved was… Charlie! That while trying to save Claire of the drowning, it would have drowned. That the lightning would have fallen to him above. All in all, that it soon will die, in spite of the attempts at rescues of Desmond.

My opinion: good then, there, that laughs more!!! This episode is quite simply incredible! The flashback on Desmond… at least, was this a flashback?

Ce que le jeu "The Lost Experience" a dévoilé sur la Hanso Foundation // Nouvelles théories sur LOST              

  Un fan, Heinze, a posté un "résumé" sur ce que le jeu vidéo en réseau "The Lost Experience", fermé depuis le 26 septembre 2006, a dévoilé aux fans les plus assidus que nous sommes. Alors que la saison 3 redémarre de plus belle, énormément d'éléments dévoilés dans le jeu vidéo permettent, ENFIN, d'apporter certaines réponses et d'établir certaines connections :    Voici un résumé de la Lost Experience avec tout ce que nous avons appris avec certaines théories.    La Hanso Foundation a été créé par Alvar Hanso. Celui-ci fournissait des munitions aux différents groupes de résistance d’Europe lors de la Seconde Guerre Mondiale avant de devenir le plus grand fournisseur de l’OTAN.  Son grand-père est un dénommé Magnus Hanso. Il était un marchand d'esclave et naviguait � travers le monde ; c'est ce qui lui a permit de faire fortune et qui a contribué � la richesse d'Alvar.  Magnus s'est ensuite retrouvé sur l'île peut-être a cause du magnétisme (comme Rousseau) ou d'un tsunami qui expliquerait qu'il soit desormais au milieu de la jungle. Alvar est un homme philanthrope qui souhaite offrir � l’humanité un monde meilleur : ce sera d’ailleurs le but principal de sa fondation.    Les principaux membres de sa fondation sont :  - Dr. Thomas Werner Mittelwerk : Président et Technicien en chef de la Fondation Hanso.  C’est le bras droit d’Alvar. Il a consacré sa vie � la biologie et � la génétique suite au décès de sa mère causé par une maladie rare alors qu’il était encore jeune. Il a fait des études de biologie moléculaire � Caltech avant d’être recruté par Alvar Hanso.  - Hugh McIntyre : Directeur de la Communication  Traducteur vétéran des Nations Unies très attaché aux valeurs familiales.  - Peter Thompson : Vice Président, Conseiller Général et Secrétaire de la Fondation Hanso.  Il fut diplômé de l’université de Loyola et de l’Université de la Chigago Law School. Il fut malheureusement atteint d’une tumeur inopérable et un cancer du pancréas. Il se retrouva au Alvar Hanso Cancer Center de Genève et guérit miraculeusement ; depuis ce jour, il se voua � la protection des efforts humanitaires de la Fondation Hanso.  Il est également Directeur Général par interim du Global Hearth Consortium.    Suite au piratage de Persephone (qui n'est autre que Rachel Blake, la fille d'Alvar Hanso), on apprend petit � petit qu’ils n’étaient pas ceux qu’ils prétendaient être.  Elle nous a révélé que Mittelwerk n’a jamais été a Caltech (il n’est donc probablement pas docteur), qu’Hugh McIntyre trompe sa femme avec une certaine Darla Taft qui travaille au Global Welfare Consortium et que Peter Thompson a causé la mort de plusieurs personnes avant de rejoindre la Hanso Foundation. Nous savons donc désormais que les membres de la Hanso Foundation sont tous des menteurs et ne sont pas aussi "saints" qu’ils le prétendent. Apres le shutdown du site de la Hanso Foundation, Rachel Blake continue son travail � visage découvert. On apprend que Thomas Mittelwerk a pris le relai après la mystérieuse disparition d’Alvar Hanso...    On connait certains des agissements de la Hanso Foundation comme le trafic d’organes effectué dans le monde entier par l’intermédiaire des Jeep Compass. Ces jeep étaient censés transporter des barres Apollo. Au sujet de ce trafic d’organes, Rachel Blake a reussi � contacter un membre de la société Jeep Compass et lui a envoyé un dossier contenant des preuves de leur trafic illégal. Cet homme est William T. Kilpatrick.  Voil� les conclusions qu'on en tire : la Hanso Foundation s'est debrouillée pour obtenir la signature de leurs patients pour qu'ils ne soient pas réanimés en cas d'arrêt cardiaque (peut-être grace a l'injection Vialex/HAP-XP04 et HAP-XP01).  Ensuite, la Hanso Foundation "se sert dans les corps" en transportant les différents organes grâce aux Jeep avant de les envoyer par avion vers la Suisse et le centre New Delhi. William s'est fait capturer comme on le voit dans une vidéo diffusée dans le jeu et a été tué. Ces organes ont été envoyés � divers endroits...  Après l’assassinat de Darla et Hugh Mc Intyre (qui était revenu sur la bonne voie grace a Darla), Malik (garde du corps de Mittelwerk) a donné � Rachel Blake la clé de l'appartement de Darla dans lequel elle devrait trouver de documents intéressants. Elle y apprend que Mittelwerk avait l’intention de se rendre dans une île près de l’équateur grâce � un bateau construit par un certain Mr Paik (père de Sun dirigeant la Paik Heavy Industries) pour le SPIDER Protocol.    Il y apprend également qu’il est actuellement au Sri Lanka ; ce pourquoi elle decidera de s’y rendre. Via une vidéo envoyée, on y apprend : Enzo Valenzetti a établi une équation qui predirait le moment où l'humanité s'auto-detruira. Alvar Hanso et les Degroot ont donc créé la Dharma Initiative en 1970 sur l'île pour pouvoir modifier les valeurs de cette équation : 4 8 15 16 23 42, en manipulant l'environnement.  Cette manipulation s'opère surment � travers les 6 différents domaines d'étude de la Dharma Initiative : météorologie, zoologie, psychologie, parapsychologie, électromagnétisme et utopie sociale.  Malheureusement elle a échoué, sans doute suite � "l'incident". Thomas Mittelwerk, nouveau boss de la Hanso Foundation, a injecté aux peuples de 2 villages � leur insu un virus qui permettra de modifier d'une façon que l'on ignore encore les valeurs de l'équation. Seulement, ce vaccin n'est qu'en phase s'essai ; un taux de mortalité est prévu autour de 30%, ni plus ni moins. Les morts devront être étudiés pour savoir ce qui n'a pas fonctionné et donc perfectionner le virus...    On a également d’autres preuves des véritables agissements de la Hanso Foundation. Dans une lettre de Jacques Maillot du Welfare Consortium, il se plaint d'une épidémie de maladie meningocoque détectée dans les villages côtiers de la République Unie de Tanzanie. Il pense que l'apparition de cette maladie transgénique est liée aux recherches de la Hanso Foundation sur des primates dans la Station Expérimentale de Zanzibar. Il a menacé la Hanso Foundation -erreur- de faire cesser leurs activités s'il trouve un quelconque lien entre la maladie et les recherches. Etrangement, après cette plainte, Peter Thompson, remplacant de Jacques Maillot, a reglé cette histoire...  Ces recherches sont peut-être celles dont parlent Mittelwerk dans la vidéo du Sri Lanka. C'est peut-être dans ces villages côtiers qu'est injecté le virus qui serait en fait une meningocoque. Ce virus sera ensuite propagé dans le monde entier tel une pandémie qui tuera 30% de la population selon une certaine sélection naturelle. Seuls les êtres humains possédant la code génétique idéal pourront survivre et ainsi il lutterait contre la surpopulation.   Autre idée, une maladie meningocoque provoque une méningite cérébro-spinale, elle se transmet normalement par la salive et éternuements. On apprend qu'elle touchait essentiellement les enfants. C'est peut-être la maladie qui se trouvait sur l'île. Les autres pensent que la maladie se trouve toujours sur l'île et c'est pourquoi ils protégent les enfants : ils prétendent bien être des bonnes personnes, non ? Pour détecter si on est infecté ou non par cette maladie, il faut faire une analyse de sang : c'est peut-être pour cette raison que Miss Klugh fait une analyse de sang � Mickael. Après avoir vu qu'ils étaient sains, ils leur ont permis de quitter l'île...    Bon tout ca n'est que supposition mais c'est quand même possible !  Lors du finale de la Lost Experience, on apprend qu’Alvar Hanso est toujours en vie. Ce qui est assez étrange car selon le diagnostic d’un medecin qui a prélevé son sang, Alvar Hanso devait mourir d’une crise cardiaque. Il a sûrement trouvé un moyen de se soigner. On apprend également que Rachel Blake est sa fille ; c’était donc ça sa motivation principale. Après la mort de sa mère (d’une cause que l’on ignore) elle a decidé de tout mettre en œuvre et de retrouver son père. Alvar Hanso était donc prisonnier de Mittelwerk qui agissait en son nom. La Hanso Foundation a retrouvé son vrai patron et retrouve également ses objectifs philanthropiques. Mittelwerk, lui, continue ses travaux mais de facon plus "underground".    Tout au long de la Lost Experience, on decouvre que la Hanso Foundation avait 2 principaux associés :    - La Widmore Corporation, qui est le principal associé de la Hanso Foundation. On peut supposer que la Widmore Corporation fournit en matériel la Dharma Initiative (test de grossesse de Sun, ballon d’Henry Gale…). On apprend que la Widmore Corporation utilise les travaux d’étudiants en electro-magnétisme, en particulier comment faire quitter son orbite � un corps né dans l’espace (comme la Lune par exemple).  On en sait pas plus au sujet du rôle de la Widmore Corporation. Au sujet de la famille Widmore, la patron de la Widmore Corporation semble être Charles Widmore et sa fille est Penelope Widmore (petit-ami de Desmond).  Dans le livre Bad Twin de Gary Troup (anagramme de purgatory, clin d’œil a la théorie du purgatoire), on retrouve la famille Widmore. Gary Troup est mort dans le vol 815 d’Oceanic Airlines alors qu’il disposait du seul exemplaire de Bad Twin sous forme de manuscrit. Enfin c’est que la Hanso Foundation croyait, bien heureusement il avait envoyé une copie � Hyperion qui a pu editer puis commercialiser le livre. (le manuscrit est ensuite lu par Sawyer). Selon le Podcast officiel de Lost, il y aurait 2 branches � la famille Widmore : une américaine et une anglaise. Dans la famille de Bad Twin il y a Arthur Widmore chef de famille et patron de la Widmore Corporation, Cliff et Zander Widmore (les bad twins) fils d’Arthur Widmore ; Vivian Widmore 3ème femme d’Arthur ; Shannon Widmore (décédé) femme de Clifford Widmore et Bernard Bryce Widmore qui est le père de toute cette dynastie.  Charles Widmore dirige la Widmore Corporation aux Etats-Unis et Arthur Widmore s’occupe de l’Angleterre.    - La Paik Heavy Industries qui se charge de tout ce qui est transport. Elle est dirigé par M.Paik, le probable père de Sun. C’est la Paik Heavy Industries qui s’est chargée de construire le bateau qui devait se diriger vers une île. Ce bateau porte le nom d’Helgus Antonius et c’est un bateau médical avec des zone de Quarantaine (comme sur les portes des bunkers).  Il se sert peut-être de ce bateau afin de transporter le virus vers une île. Cette île justement pourrait être l’île magnétique ou bien l’île Punkuduvitu qui se situe au Nord-Est du Sri Lanka. Sur l’île Punkuduvitu il y a un village appellé Vallam. A moins que c’est deux îles soient la même. Ce que l’on sait c'est que ce bateau va permettre la réalisation du SPIDER Protocol (aucune idée de ce que c’est).    Revenons sur cette île, la théorie "générale" vous la connaissez tous : l’île est rendue invisible grâce a un dôme électromagnétique, comme l'on voit sur une des BD lues par Walt...  Remarquerez les montagnes en fond sur la BD : peut-être � associer avec la station polaire ? Rappelons que dans l’épisode final, Desmond dit � Locke qu’il a voulu "partir en bateau mais n’a fait que tourner en rond". C’est � ce moment qu’il compare l’île � une boule � neige. Il y a beaucoup de référence � la glace/neige quand même : ours polaire, boule � neige, station polaire, qu’est-ce qu’un bonhomme dit � un autre bonhomme de neige ?, montagne sur la BD...    On a l’impression que la prod’ veut nous faire croire que l’île se situe en zone polaire et que ce sont les experiences météorologiques ou le dôme qui rendent le climat tropical.  Ce dome contient cependant une brèche qui le relie au monde extérieur, comme l’indique Henry Gale � Mickael, cette brèche se situe a l’orientation 325°.    Grâce � Persephone, nous avons appris que la Hanso Foundation avait construit une installation de recherche off-shore pres de la Corée. Cette installation possède une grande antenne et une station de recherche électromagnétique. Ca ne correspondrait pas � notre île par hasard ?  Si oui on connait donc sa localisation, c'est pas loin de la Corée. Le ministre Hoo-Gon Choi (ou Hoo-Goh Choi) est informé de l'existence de cette installation et a pour rôle d'essayer de garder cela secret malgré les nombreuses perturbations qu'elle provoque en Corée (dans les télécommunications, les systèmes de navigation de bateaux de pêches et l'accès aux satellites dans une certaine zone).    Une équipe de Conspiraspies de Dj Dan s'est rendue sur place mais ils n'ont rien trouvé ; tout ce qu'ils ont vu c'est une fine petite ligne qui va jusqu'au ciel ("skinny little line sticking way up in the sky").  Cette fine ligne correspondrait � la brèche du dôme qui servirait de lien avec le monde extérieur. Après avoir vu le dernier épisode de la saison 2, on peut supposer qu’une anomalie magnétique se produit lorque le code n’est pas tapé et il est possible que cela désactive le dome. Pénélope a été informée de l’existence de l’île grâce aux documents de son père alors que celui-ci s'est débrouillé pour que Desmond s’y retrouve coincé. C’est le meilleur moyen pour lui d'empêcher Penelope et Desmond de se voir mais c’est sous-estimer sa fille... Elle a donc payé les poruguais/brésiliens pour qu’ils recherchent une anomalie magnétique dans le pacifique. Nous savons qu’ils en ont deja raté une, sûrement celle du 22 Septembre 2004.    Une théorie vient � l’esprit quant au sujet de la fumée noire. Elle correspondrait au Cerberus System car Cerberus est, dans la mythologie, le chien � trois têtes Gardien des Enfers ; Rousseau a dit que la fumée noire était le système de sécurité de l’île. Mais si c’était en fait le virus que la Hanso Foundation/Mittelwerk a créé pour éliminer 30% de la population ? Ce qui mène � cette théorie c'est celle de la selection naturelle. On a vu que la fumée noire étudiait les gens et qu’elle a tué le pilote de l’avion mais pas Locke et Ecko. Peut-être que, suite � l’incident, ils ont perdu le contrôle de ce virus : c’est pourquoi la Dharma Iniative aurait échoué...  On a appris par Rachel que depuis que la Dharma Initiative a subi cet echec, aucun des anciens scientifiques n’est réapparu ou � donné signe de vie. C’est pourquoi je pense que les autres sont les anciens scientifiques de la Dharma qui ont continué leurs travaux même apres l’échec de la Dharma. Ils sont sûrement sous les ordres de quelqu’un. On sait que ce sont des admirateurs d’Alvar Hanso car dans l’épisode 11 ils citent une phrase d’Alvar en disant tout le plus grand bien de lui ; il est, selon eux, "l’homme le plus intelligent". Mais dans la Lost Experience, on apprend qu’Alvar Hanso a disparu depuis 2003 je pense ; leur chef doit donc être Mittelwerk. Il fait bien croire � tout le monde qu’il perpétue les travaux d’Alvar Hanso alors il pourrait faire de même avec les autres ? On en saura sûrement plus dans la saison 3.    Des questions restent toujours en suspend :  Que fait la statue d’un pied a 3 orteils sur l’île ?  Pourquoi taper l’équation Valenzetti sur l’ordinateur ?  Quels sont les travaux des autres ?  A quoi correspond le SPIDER Protocol ?  Le temps s’écoule-t-il différemment sur l’île et � l’éxterieur de l’ile ?  Peut-être que le dôme magnétique a un effet sur le temps ? La prod’ a dit qu’ils ne savaient pas si Walt et Mickael seraient de retour et que si c’était le cas ils trouveraient un moyen de faire revenir Walt dans la série (on sait que le principal problème c’est qu’il a trop grandit pour 2 mois). De plus, Hurley a dit quelque chose qui laisserait supposer que le temps s’écoule de facon différente en dehors de l’île. (épisode de la saison 2 où il répare une radio et écoute une chanson des années 50). Bien sûr, il disait ça en plaisantant mais ça pourrait être un indice tellement ça a été bref et discret.    Est-ce vraiment la bonne théorie ? One does not know any more about the role of Widmore Corporation. About the Widmore family, the owner of Widmore Corporation seems to be Charles Widmore and his/her daughter is Penelope Widmore (small-friend of Desmond). In the book Bad Twin de Gary Troup (anagram of purgatory, wink to the theory of the purgatory), one finds the Widmore family. Gary Troup died in flight 815 of Oceanic Airlines whereas it had the only specimen of Bad Twin in the form of manuscript. Questions always remain suspends some: What makes the statue of a foot has 3 toes on the island? Why type the Valenzetti equation on the computer? Which are work of the others? With what does correspond the SPIDER Protocol? Does time pass differently on the island and � the exterior of the island? Perhaps what the magnetic dome has an effect over time? The prod' said that they did not know if Walt and Mickael would be back and that if it were the case they would find a means of making return Walt in the series (it is known that the principal problem it is that it has too much grows for 2 months). Moreover, Hurley said something which would let suppose that time passes in a different way apart from the island. (episode of season 2 where it repairs a radio and listens to a song of the Fifties).
